“Telephone” feat. Beyoncé
Swedish director, Jonas Akerlund, joins with Lady Gaga again to create history for the highly anticipated video for “Telephone,” featuring Beyonce. Best known for his mock movie trailer style of music videos, Akerlund has worked with Lady Gaga before for the “Paparazzi” video. This time, Lady Gaga and Beyonce are the modern day Thelma and Louise escaping authorities in the iconic “Pussy Wagon” from Kill Bill. With a record breaking 15 million views on release week, Lady Gaga continues to push the envelope of music as art and prove her status as a monster of popular culture.
